As summer winds down and students prepare to head back to the classroom, Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette is proud to give back to the community through our Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Throughout August, we're hosting a Back-to-School Supply Drive and partnering with a local elementary school to help ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed.
Supporting Students at Amelia Earhart Elementary School
At Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette, we believe that every student deserves an equal opportunity for a quality education. That's why we're thrilled to partner with AdoptAClassroom.org to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students at Amelia Earhart Elementary School right here in Lafayette, IN. Through this partnership, we're adopting the school and providing its dedicated teachers with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know their students most need to thrive.
The need for educational support extends throughout Indiana and communities everywhere. Millions of students in high-needs schools across the country lack the supplies and learning materials necessary to succeed in the classroom. In fact, more than 93 percent of teachers report that students' families cannot afford the supplies they need, often requiring educators to purchase resources using their own funds.
Making a Real Impact in Our Community
Thanks to the Subaru Loves Learning program and our partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, Zeigler Subaru of Lafayette has already supported 3,166 students in Lafayette. Families traveling from Crawfordsville appreciate knowing their local Subaru dealership is invested in education. Similarly, residents of Frankfort can take pride in nearby businesses stepping up to support young learners.
Subaru is the largest corporate donor to AdoptAClassroom.org, demonstrating a genuine commitment to education nationwide. Across the country, more than one million students have been supported by Subaru and retailers like us. Students and families in West Lafayette also benefit from this initiative, knowing that local businesses care about their academic success.
